Danielle is a fully qualified teacher with a first-class honours degree in Primary Education and has been graded as an ‘outstanding’ practitioner. She has worked predominantly in Key Stage 2 throughout her teaching career and has over 7 years of teaching and tuition experience. Three years ago, she left her full-time job as a teacher to focus solely on her tuition students and their needs.
Danielle’s sessions run Monday - Wednesday and provide curriculum support for children in Key Stage 2 and those looking to prepare for the local grammar school entrance exam. She takes a friendly and warm approach in her teaching and finds that her students look forward to spending their evenings in her class.
Hazel holds a qualification in Primary and Early Years Education and has a wealth of experience in teaching younger children, spending over 7 years within Early Years and Key Stage 1 settings. For the last 5 years, she has worked in a range of year groups at a local school and is currently positioned in Key Stage 1.
Hazel joins us at The Schoolroom on a Thursday evening and runs sessions for children in Years 1 and 2. Her nurturing and affable nature ensures that all of the children in her care feel at ease from the offset. Hazel’s vast experience with younger children enables her to plan and lead fun, engaging sessions that are tailored to meet each child’s individual needs.
Both Danielle and Hazel are fully DBS checked and insured to teach children at The Schoolroom.
